A teenager has died after an accident on the M6 in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Hayley Marie McMinn's Ford Ka left the southbound carriageway between junction 32, the Broughton Interchange, and 33, Galgate, at around 3.40am on Sunday.
The 19-year-old, who is from Middleton in Morecambe, was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering multiple injuries.
A statement from her family said: “Hayley was full of life; she was loved so much by her family and friends and lived life to the full, with never a dull moment. She will be sadly missed by her mum, dad sister and brother.”
Police closed the southbound carriageway between junctions 32 and 33.
